HartBeat Goes To Washington

HartBeat was thrilled to be a part of this historic moment!  On January 19th and 20th, we brought our own version of President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton to Washington DC.  With almost 2 million people in attendance, HartBeat had an abundant audience to play for both on various stages and on the street.  The crowds loved interacting with "Obama" and enjoyed the scenes we created around what Code Pink calls his "7 Promises."

Obama's 7 Promises

    *  End the War in Iraq

    *  Shut down Guantanamo

    *  Reject the Military Commissions Act.

    *  Stop Torture

    *  Work to eliminate nuclear weapons

    *  Hold direct, unconditional talks with Iran

    * Abide by Senate Approved International Treaties.
