COVID-19 POLICY FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY
OF AUDIENCES, STAFF AND COMMUNITIES
As of September 27, 2021
Beginning on October 2, 2021, HartBeat will reopen its doors and welcome our communities and audiences back to the theater. HartBeat will follow these policies for performances at all spaces where the company is performing. To ensure that we are providing a safe environment for all, the company has put the following protocols in place:
VACCINATION POLICY: Audience members must show proof of vaccination to enter the theater; please be prepared to show your physical vaccination card or a photo of your card. This mandate also applies to staff, backstage crew, and artists.
Those who are not eligible for the vaccine (children under 12) or need reasonable accommodation due to a medical exemption or sincerely held religious belief, must provide proof of one of the following:
Negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance start time, or
Negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance start time.
Audience members who cannot provide appropriate documentation will not be allowed into the building.
MASK POLICY: Masks or face coverings are always required inside the building for all visitors aged two and older, regardless of vaccination status. You will not be permitted inside the theatre without a face covering. If an audience member does not have an acceptable mask, a mask will be provided. CDC guidelines advise that face coverings should:
Reach above the nose, below the chin, and completely cover the mouth and nose
Fit snugly against the sides of the face
Social distancing is encouraged; visitors should stay at least three feet (about two arms’ length) from others and from groups. We will do our best to control and reduce capacity in the theatre building.
Hand Sanitizer will be available at stations throughout the building.
Please stay home if you are feeling sick. For more information about COVID-19, check the CDC website.
