Salons at Stowe: Suffrage & Abolitionism, Then and Now
Join us at the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center for a Salon at Stowe about the relationship between abolition and suffrage during Harriet Beecher Stowe’s lifetime. MC Versatile will be in conversation with Godfrey Simmons Jr and Leslie Gabel-Brett. Attendees will receive a $5 coupon code to attend any Possessing Harriet performance at the Carriage House.

Join us at the Mark Twain House for a conversation featuring Possessing Harriet's playwright Kyle Bass in conversation with Channon Miller. Attendees will receive a $5 coupon code to attend any Possessing Harriet performance.

ENCOUNTERS: The Cost of Freedom
Join us for ENCOUNTERS, a conversation model patented with the UConn Human Rights Impact center, to dive deeply into the themes of Possessing Harriet through facilitated, small-group dialogues. Light dinner served.

Reception with Hartford Fiber Artist Ed Johnetta Miller
Artwork from Hartford legend, Ed Johnetta Miller will be on display in the lobby of the Carriage House. Join us for a casual reception with the artist and other featured artists before the evening show.

Family Day!
Join us for Family Day activities before our 2pm matinee including creative writing, art making, book giveaways and collaging workshop with Ed Johnetta Miller around Harriet Powell "The Mother of Quilting." Curbside Vibes food truck onsite. Inquire within if you need onsite childcare for the 2pm show for youth ages 1 or older.
